What you will need
- You will find the practice more enjoyable if you are in a warm quiet space.
- A yoga or fitness mat of approximately 4mm thick to provide stability in poses and padding for comfort.
- Loose, comfortable clothing that you wont feel restricted in when in poses.
- 2 x yoga blocks, or items that can substitute such as large food cans, or stable stacks of books to ankle or shin height.
- A bolster or several cushions/pillows/blankets to provide support under knees, hips, neck, back or your head.
- Perhaps a gentle yoga playlist. I particularly like "Spirit of Yoga" by Ben Leinbach
- An open mind and a playful approach to exploring your body.
