What you will need


  1. You will find the practice more enjoyable if you are in a warm quiet space.
  2. A yoga or fitness mat of approximately 4mm thick to provide stability in poses and padding for comfort.
  3. Loose, comfortable clothing that you wont feel restricted in when in poses.
  4. 2 x yoga blocks, or items that can substitute such as large food cans, or stable stacks of books to ankle or shin height.
  5. A bolster or several cushions/pillows/blankets to provide support under knees, hips, neck, back or your head.
  6. Perhaps a gentle yoga playlist. I particularly like "Spirit of Yoga" by Ben Leinbach
  7. An open mind and a playful approach to exploring your body.
